Deconstruction of measures for diversion route
On Thursday 13 November, demolition and repair works have started on the diversion route.
We began by closing the temporary R2 exit Waaslandhaven-Noord [11]. As of 13 November you once again have to take the Waaslandhaven-Noord [11] exit past the toll gate at the Liefkenshoek Tunnel. The R2 exit at the Waaslandhaven-Zuid [10] complex was closed until Sunday evening, 16 November (8 PM).
On the right you can find an overview of the six zones where we will be working from 14 November till 4 December. During this period, one-way traffic applies on the diversion route to Ghent.

Removal of bycyle crossings near the soon to be roundabout of Ploegweg and Sint-Jansweg
From Monday 24 November (5 a.m.) to Friday 28 November (4 p.m.)
The intersection of Ploegweg, Sint-Jansweg and Ketenislaan is to be redesigned into a roundabout. We are also working on Ketenislaan between the intersection and Café De Bus. In addition, we are removing two bicycle crossings: one near Fabriekstraat and the other south of the Melselebrug.
During the works at the intersection, all traffic movements at the intersection will remain possible. Only Oudendijk will be inaccessible. Traffic on Ketenislaan will use one lane instead of two near the construction site. During the works on the bicycle crossings, traffic on Ketenislaan and Steenlandlaan will use one lane instead of two.
